Well, onto another week! This week we’re going to have the following menus:
- Pasta with pesto, orange slices and broccoli
- Bean and rice burrito, salad with dressing, tortilla chips with salsa, mango
- PBJ on an english muffin, banana half, broccoli and baby carrots with ranch dip, dessert of your choice
- Hamburger on bun (or veggie burger!), fried rice, tomatoes and cheese, yogurt
- Bagel chips with cheese and meat slices, sugar snap peas, grapes and ranch dip
Shopping List:
Breads
- Tortilla
- english muffin
- hamburger buns
- bagel chips
Dairy and Meat
- yogurt
- cheese of your choice
- lunch meat
- Ground turkey or beef for burgers (or beans for veggie burgers)
- sour cream (for ranch dip)
Produce
- oranges (we use cuties that are easy to peel and have no seeds)
- broccoli crown
- salad items
- mango
- bananas
- baby carrots
- tomatoes
- sugar snap peas
- grapes
Boxed and canned goods
- Pesto
- Pinto beans, canned (don’t forget to drain and rinse them before using!)
- rice
- tortilla chips
- ranch seasoning for dip (in the salad dressing aisle)
Now that we have the shopping list and menu, I need the accompanying pictures and directions. I need these things by Tues. mornings because that's when I do my shopping.(Beth, by doing this blog you are contributing to our family life in a meaningful way. I appreciate it. Thank you.) -Chris Ingram

DeleteYour best bet will be to follow along a week behind if you need pictures and all that by Tuesday as I don't take pictures till the morning I make the lunches. I'm so glad that I can contribute to the healthy eating lifestyles of your family!
Also Beth, where's the recipe for homemade Clif bars? I bought the ingredients but now can't find the recipe. Thanks again. -Chris
